Larry Baker is a pastor with a zeal for God and His Kingdom that permeates every area of his life. His excitement about loving and serving God and people compels him daily as he ministers to people from all walks of life. Whether he is preaching sermons, working in the garden, ministering to his family and his congregation, encouraging other ministers, reaching out to the lost and those in need, or sharing the gospel in foreign lands, He is 100% engaged in building the Kingdom of God.

 

Larry received his Master of Divinity Degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1976. He and his wife Diana and their family moved to the Atlanta area in 1978. They founded Word of Faith Church (now Prayer and Praise Christian Fellowship) in 1980 and have pastored the church since that time.

Diana Baker has a deep love for God and for people and enjoys using her God-given gifts and talents to further the Kingdom of God. She is the co-pastor, worship leader, pianist, and children's church teacher.
